Cache in trash out adventure at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park Sept. 28

Join Topsail Hill Preserve State Park on National Public Lands Day for a “Cache In, Trash Out” Adventure on September 28, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  September 28 is also Bike Your Park Day.  Participants will be exploring the park by foot or by bike while looking for thirteen geocache locations.  At each location visited, event participants will learn more about the area of the park they are in and help maintain it by picking up trash as they go.

To start, participants check in at the Ranger Station between 9am – 12pm.  When finished they check back in at the Ranger Station for their prize.  Participants will need a GPS or a smart phone capable with GPS, water, weather appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes.

Event is free with regular park admission.

Located in Santa Rosa Beach, the park is located 1/4 south of U.S. Hwy 98 on western end of Scenic Hwy. 30A.  ::MAP:
