The Biophilia Center is hosting a family friendly/ fun-filled Earth Day on Saturday, April 20, 2013. Enjoy music, food, animal ambassadors, environmental demos, arts and crafts, face painting, hikes, children’s gardening, edible landfill, Muscogee Indian dancing, Turtle-Bob, birds of prey, local vendors, live bluegrass music with Franko and Fiends and much more.
Admission is $2, children under 6 FREE. Also see the unveiling of the new exhibit The World of Wonder.
The E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center offers education on a better understanding of our environment; with its focus on the importance of biodiversity, ecosystems, conservation, preservation and restoration of our natural resources.
