E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center open Dec. 27, 28 and 29

Center will be closed on Dec. 24th and 31st.

The E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center will be open to the public Dec. 27, 28 and 29 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. They will be featuring special programs along with an opportunity to explore their trails!

Dec. 27 – “Talking Trash” – Help save our environment by learning the ins and outs of recycling and it’s importance!

Dec. 28 – Animals, animals, animals!!  – Every snake, bird, turtle and mammal that the Center has will be on display for unbelievable interaction!!!!

Dec. 29 – Hike the trails – All of our trails will be open at different times throughout the day.  Each hike will be led by one of the Center’s knowledgeable staff.

The E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center offers education on a better understanding of our environment; with its focus on the importance of biodiversity, ecosystems, conservation, preservation and restoration of our natural resources.

Each Saturday, the Center is open to the public 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. and will focus on a different theme, featuring specialized programs such as birds of prey, remnants of a forest, gopher tortoises and nature based movies.
 Admission is $5 per person.
 Children ages 6 to 12 are $2.
 Children 5 and under are free.
 Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
