Joining the usual historic homes are residential structures “in process” of restoration, three vintage trailers and two vintage cars to provide visitors with an array of viewing choices. In addition, various points of interest around the city have agreed to be a part of the tour (Walton County Heritage Museum, Walton County Library, Chautauqua Museum, and the Festival of Trees). Plan to spend the day: First, “Breakfast Cooked to Order” at St. Agatha’s (7-10 am); then tour homes and historical sites (10 am -5 pm); next have dinner at a local restaurant; and finally, enjoy the millions of “Christmas Reflections” lights around Lake DeFuniak.
Advance tickets ($25) are available at: Nook and Cranny Consignments, 676 Baldwin Avenue; Southeby’s Antiques, 27 Crescent Street; Walton County Heritage Museum, 1140 Circle Drive; or send a check marked “Tour” (with a SASE) to St. Agatha’s, 150 Circle Drive, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435.
On the day of the Tour tickets, as well as a Tour Guide, will be available at St. Agatha’s Parish House (150 Circle Drive). For more information call 850-830-7663.
