Partners in Progress announces the 22nd Annual Christmas Tour of Homes in DeFuniak Springs for Saturday, December 1, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. The 2012 tour price includes 5 homes and a narrated tour around Circle Drive aboard The Lil’ Trolley emphasizing the lake yard are and its role as the campus of the original Florida Chautauqua Assembly. Tickets will be available the day of the tour from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Visitors Center on Circle Drive: Adults – $18.75 +tax; Children 12 and under – $7.50 +tax; Babes in arms – free.
The five homes featured on this year’s tour are: 84 Bay Avenue, 265 S. 12th Street, 128 East Main Avenue, 34 East Main Avenue, and 181 Plateau Avenue. Each home has its own interesting story to tell about life in DeFuniak Springs and the adaptability that has allowed it to survive and continue its contributions to DeFuniak’s historic community.
