January 10:  Thursday Evening Program. Eagles, hawks and falcons of eastern North America by Greg Greer, naturalist.  Greer will illustrate, identify the birds in free flight and during banding operations and present information on the behavior, migration and population dynamics of this extremely interesting group of raptors. The powerpoint presentation will be held in room 308/309 of the Student Services Building 400 at the Northwest Florida State College Niceville campus. January 5:  Birdwalk at the Wright Landfill and Okaloosa Holding ponds.  Join experienced birder Alan Knothe in an expedition to find interesting and rare birds first discovered during the Christmas Birdcount.  Meet at Pepito’s parking lot, 1313 Lewis Turner Blvd at 7:30 AM.
