Great turnout for the Nick’s Chicks inaugural fishing tournament Oct. 12

Most any day is a great day for fishing. However, a very special day just for the ladies was held on Oct. 12, 2013 at the inaugural Nick’s For Chick’s fishing tournament. Twenty-seven ladies competed for a variety cash and prizes. Points were accrued for redfish, speckled trout, catfish and ladyfish caught from the Choctawhatchee Bay. Harbor Docks Charities is hosting the 19th Annual Take-A-Kid-Fishing Day on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013. Last year many area children spent a glorious day fishing aboard 57 of Destin’s finest charter boats.
