Beekeeping program in DeFuniak Springs April 24

If you are interested in keeping bees, whether as a hobby or for profit, the University of Florida IFAS Extension Service is presenting an educational program on beekeeping. The program will be held at 7 Pines Native Nursery, 2435 Co. Hwy 192 in DeFuniak Springs on Monday, April 24th from 10 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. CST, and there will be a $20 fee to attend.

Topics covered will include raising bees, maintaining hive health, hive construction, and native plant varieties appropriate for pollinators.
