A great day outdoors!

Hundreds of children and their families enjoyed a great day outdoors Oct. 15 during the Back To Nature Festival’s Explore at Grayton Beach State Park event. The day’s activities were hosted by Walton Outdoors for the South Walton Community Council’s annual event. Families enjoyed fishing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, wildlife displays, hiking, a sea life touch tank and more.

Special thanks go out to the activity hosts and volunteers: Grayton Beach State Park, Patrick Hartsfield, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Fish Florida!, Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance, Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge, Frances Stone, Murray Balkcom, Joe Wyatt, Kerrie Thompson, Jeff Ragland, Tony Bigot, Susan and Bruce Paladini, Troop Leader Tom Marse and his Boy Scouts.
