Alaqua Animal Refuge ‘furever’ friend of the week

A very special blue-eyed feline looking for a new friend

Ever feel self-conscious about your appearance?  Maybe you’re having a bad hair day or you missed a spot when you were shaving?  Ever wonder if animals might feel the same about the way they look?  Take one sweet feline in the far Cat Cabin at Alaqua Animal Refuge.  Lacy is her name, a two and a half year old Siamese mix.  Her coat is a flattering shade of cream with artistically arranged swatches of tan and gray completing her overall look.  And her eyes – they’re a striking blue that’s deep enough to get lost in.  But exceptionally beautiful though they may be, those eyes are Lacy’s equivalent of a bad hair day as her eyes are slightly crossed.  Maybe that’s what causes her to be a little bit shy, and to be overlooked when prospective pet parents come to call.  Every day Lacy dreams of having a loving forever home. You could be just the person to make her dreams come true.

If you would like to adopt Lacy or any of the other available friends, contact Alaqua Animal Refuge at 850-880-6399 or go online at www.aarflorida.com.
