This very handsome fellow is James Earl Jones, an Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix. When his owners could no longer care for him, they dropped him off at animal control where our Alaqua Angels found and rescued him. Anxious to make the most of his potential, he enrolled in our Unconditional Love program and graduated with flying colors. True to his big name, a larger than life personality fits James Earl Jones to a T. Extremely social, his favorite activity is romping in our play area with as many other dogs as possible. Much as he enjoys all the activities at Alaqua Animal Refuge however, he really wants to find a forever home, especially one where he could have brothers and sisters, both those of the canine and human variety. Eager to please and offering a lifetime of unconditional love, James Earl Jones is waiting for a special someone just like you.
