There are so many extra special dogs to choose from in our Alaqua Animal Refuge canine family that it’s always difficult to decide which one to feature next. Our star this week is Mitch, a handsome Labrador Retriever/Beagle mix who was rescued from a local kill shelter after he was picked up as a stray. Still in that charming playful puppy stage, Mitch is full of enthusiasm and intrigued by everyone and everything he meets. His favorite activities are playing with other dogs and running, making him the perfect companion for anyone who is exercise minded. He has all these awesome qualities, plus he’s great on a leash! Full of the joy living, Mitch is anxious for a special someone to call his own, and a loving forever home – certainly not too much to ask for such a deserving dog.
