Marvel of Flight Aviation Festival wows crowds

The City of DeFuniak Springs hosted their third annual fly-in/aviation festival, Marvel of Flight on Sat., April 27, 2013. Thousands of attendees were wowed by the aeronautical acrobats from vintage airplanes, parachuting, RC planes, and helicopter rides from Timberview Helicopters. Donations of canned food which benefited Matrix Community Outreach Center filled a flatbed trailer. Fishing is great! Choctawhatchee Bay: Redfish on the small size, still a few trout being caught and a good size. A few flounder in the clearer parts of the bay.
