Salt: Catching small amberjack, not many keepers but fun to catch. King mackerel have been spotty as they move with the bait. Catching lots of vermillion snapper, triggerfish, white snapper and some red grouper.

Inshore Gulf report brought to you by Capt. Kerry Jones of Not A Dog Charters, offering Gulf and Bay charters.

Bay: Speckled trout EARLY in the a.m. With moon time, fishing has been great mid-day for redfish, getting lots of hits on shrimp and Mirrodine lures. Lots of croakers and skip jack (ladyfish) being caught.

River: Some folks having trouble getting into the river as the water levels are very low.

Danny Copeland wants to remind folks that the resident shoreline license is free. Come on by!
