Walton County fishing report for Aug. 25

Fishing is good!

Fresh: River is good for those that are getting out. Trout early in the morning on top water. Lots of catfish, bream being caught.

Bay: Some Spanish mackerel, redfish and a few drum along the causeways.

Gulf: Lots of Spanish mackerel and red snapper season is opening up again for Oct. on the weekends.
