View the sun and the stars from Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. The Northwest Florida Astronomy Assoc. will be on site with solar telescopes for everyone to see the sun and then after sunset they’ll switch telescopes to aid in viewing celestial objects in the night sky. There will be plenty of telescopes on site but you are welcome to bring your own binoculars or telescope if you like. The park entrance gate closes before sunset so please be in the park by 6:30 pm. On September 3rd sunset will be at approx. 7:05 p.m.
