Date/time: Saturday September 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th – 8 a.m. – 12 Noon
Join Bass Pro Shops every Saturday during September of 2017 for a unique opportunity to take a fishing class. Participants are told to please meet at the boat ramp at 8:00am where we will demonstrate the proper techniques for using a cast net to catch bait. Afterwards, they will walk over to a nearby pavilion where there is a small strip of beach from which to fish. We will provide all bait and tackle and all the participant needs is a Florida Saltwater Fishing License.
Space is limited to 10 people and there will be a sign up sheet in the ranger station at Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park. The spaces for the class are on a first come first serve basis. Please remember to bring sunscreen, bug spray, and any drinks or snacks you will require. Dress appropriately you will get wet.
