Fall gardening workshop in DeFuniak Springs Sept. 15

Gardening is a fun and rewarding hobby, but it can come with plenty of frustrations. The University of Florida IFAS Extension Service is presenting an educational program to help anyone interested in gardening deal with everything from keeping soil healthy to getting rid of pests.

The workshop will be held at the Walton County Extension Office, 732 N. 9th Street, DeFuniak Springs on September 15 from 1 – 2:30 pm.

Cost is $10. Topics covered will include soil and water management as well as pest and disease control.
