Jeff Waldorff, one of the Emerald Coast’s finest bird and nature photographers, will present a program featuring his amazing work at the regular monthly meeting of the Choctawhatchee Audubon Society on Thursday, August 2. Mr. Waldorff is a consummate composer of light, color, and form, and his uncompromising approach yields the most beautiful scenes that modern digital technology can produce. His images of black skimmers cutting the water with their uniquely large lower beaks are among the best in the world. Photography students and beginning nature photographers are urged to attend, as Mr. Waldorff’s work sets a standard worthy of study.
The meeting will be held in room 132 (SSC 132) in the new Student Services Center on the Niceville campus of Northwest Fla. State College. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. with socializing and refreshments, and the program will start at 7 p.m. The meeting and program are free and open to the interested public.
