Crowds pack courtyards of Alys Beach to enjoy the show

The evening of June 6, the walls of Alys Beach turned multihued as crowds lined the courtyards and walkways of the Scenic 30A beach community to enjoy Digital Grafitti.

Colorful images and animations drew oohs and ahhs from the crowds with a variety of themes created by artists from across the globe.

“JD’s Fun House” by John Daniel of Panama City proved a favorite with the younger spectators, as the interactive display incorporated the viewer in the projection.

“I wanted to create something like a funhouse mirror, something you don’t see anymore” explained Daniel.

I was wondering if this event was “outdoors” enough for Walton Outdoors. Good to see you were there with fine photos, thanks. Check out my video in QuickTime: http://tinyurl.com/mt2okr

What a wonderful night… Loved the work that was chosen and projected up all over the walls – will be bigger and better every year, Im sure!
